How can I book your services?
You can send an email or complete the inquiry form on the booking page to tell Chloe all about your event or big day. For bridal inquiries please be sure to include all the details! Once Chloe has confirmed that your wedding date is available a non refundable booking fee is required to secure your wedding date (it will be deducted from the remaining fee).
Where do you travel for bookings?
Chloe is available to travel anywhere! She is an international makeup artist & is willing to travel anywhere at a clients request. She is fully kitted with her professional kit, lighting & directors chair. Bookings throughout the UK may require overnight accommodation to be provided for the night before, this depends on how far she is having to travel but do not worry this will be discussed should this be the case.
When should I book my wedding makeup?
Chloe recommends to secure your date as soon as you have a venue booked. Wedding vendors can have bookings up to two years in advance so it’s important to secure your wedding date with your makeup artist as soon as possible to avoid them being unavailable. You want not only your special day but the experience of planning it to run as smoothly & stress free as possible.
Why book you as my makeup artist?
As a makeup artist Chloe understands how important it is to look your best, whether that be for an event or on your wedding day. Makeup should be about enhancing your natural beauty & not masking it. Every client is unique & has their own personal style & therefore the makeup should reflect that. Chloe takes the time to listen & understand each of her clients & how they want their makeup, whether that is something natural or something a little smokier. Working with you, she will make suggestions on how to make the overall look work best for you. You will be able to relax & feel confident that you will look & mostly importantly feel your best when leaving the makeup chair.
What if I don’t know which style of makeup best suits me?
Being a professional makeup artist, if you’re unsure about what makeup style is best for you Chloe will work with you to find the best style for you. If you are new to makeup it’s recommended that you keep the look pretty natural, the most important thing is to enhance your natural beauty. She has the skill to apply makeup & give advice but when a client has a look in mind Chloe will try & recreate it in a way that works for that client. Equally if a client has no idea Chloe is happy to take the reins & use her experience to help find a look that they feel comfortable & beautiful wearing.
Do you provide hair as well as makeup services?
No Chloe does not provide hair services, she chose to focus on her passion for makeup & perfect her craft! She has however worked along side some great hair stylists & can recommend them if needed.
How can I best prepare for my trial?
Once your bridal trial has been confirmed you will be sent a ‘bridal trial checklist’ with recommendations on how to best prepare for your bridal trial.
Can I bring someone else to my trial with me?
Your trial is an opportunity for yourself & Chloe to collaborate closely, creating your perfect look & to get to know each other. It’s best to keep your trial one-on-one, however if you’d like to bring someone along it’s recommended to limit it to one person. While a second opinion can offer valuable feedback, it’s important that the trial remains centred on you & creating your perfect look.
Do members of my bridal party need a trial too?
Bridal party trials are not essential but they can be useful in some cases. They can be helpful if someone doesn’t typically wear makeup or is unsure about how they want their makeup on the day. There isn't much time on the wedding morning to experiment with styles, so if someone is unsure about what they want then having a trial beforehand can be a way of avoiding any disappointment or stress on the wedding day. Bridal Party trials can also be useful if you plan for all your bridal party to have matching makeup, as it offers the opportunity to see if a particular style will work for everyone and if any changes and tweaks can be made to ensure this.
How many people can you accomdate for on the wedding morning?
The amount of makeup services Chloe is able to do on the wedding day will depend on how much time is available on the day & what time you all need to be ready. In the past she has provided services for bridal parties of up to 9 people however I have a group of highly experienced artists I work with that I can bring along if an assistant is required.
How early will you need to start the makeup on the wedding morning?
This depends on the various factors listed above. Once the number of people who need makeup services on the day is decided as well as what time you all need to be ready by, Chloe can workout what time she needs to start. She typically spends 60 minutes on bridal party members & 60-90 minutes on the bride so that she can ensure a high standard application & a stress-free time for everyone. Timings are usually discussed during the trial & you’ll be sent over a schedule in the lead up to your wedding. Chloe always aims to get her brides ready an hour before their ceremony time so that they can get into their dress, take photographs & have touch-ups before they leave. If you have a late afternoon or evening ceremony you do not need to worry about starting early. However, if your wedding is at noon for example & there are 7 of you chances are Chloe will be there ready to set up at 5.00am.
What happens on the wedding morning?
Ahead of your wedding morning you will have received your makeup schedule from Chloe. She will normally have the bride ready an hour prior to your ceremony time, so that your wedding morning is completely stress-free. Chloe will recreate the bridal look that was created at your trial from her own reference photos & detailed notes as well as any feedback you may have given her, ensuring that you look & most importantly feel as beautiful as possible. She will also stay up until you leave for the ceremony for any last minute touch-ups.
